Welcome back, everyone! Before Rock & Shop and the holidays picked up, I shared an old project about putting cups in a fence. It was one of my favorite college projects and I knew I had to improve on it and try it again. I made my sketches and Kim and I set out into the cold and this is what we came back with…
It’s a vast improvement on the last geometric letters I did (at least that’s my angle on it). I was really inspired by Marian Bantjes’ pixel-esque work shown here, here, and here. This project was a lot of fun and turned out to be a lot bigger than I had thought. When I saw how small Kim was next to the letters, that’s when it hit me.
