Luzi Gantenbein – Rijeka Typeface
I’ve run across a lot of type in my day, but never one designed quite like this. Instead of using a pen, Luzi Gantenbein of MAGMA brand design used a blade to cut the forms from paper to make the three weight for Rijeka. What might seem like a hack job, actually makes a set of great and unique curves for each character. And yet somehow it all seems to work beautifully together.
