Thesis Forum
Today is a big day for Derek because he’s presenting his thesis this afternoon! After 2 years of intense curriculum at the School of Visual Arts in their Design as Entrepreneur graduate program, the big moment is finally here. Watching Derek grow as a designer these past 2 years has been such an incredible experience and I can’t begin to describe how incredibly proud I am of him. For his thesis, Derek has been working on “Bits of Type,” a book/brand celebrating the strange connection between typography and video games, specifically during the 1980′s and early 1990′s. I’ll let Derek give a more in-depth explanation about his thesis project later. But for now, he’s released his Bits of Type promotional video. This video will start off his presentation. Just imagine how mind-blowing this video will be on a huge screen. EPIC!
