Last night, I stumbled across these beautiful watercolor paintings of feathers from River Luna. Marisa Redondo, the artist behind River Luna, is deeply inspired by nature. In fact, Marisa even named her son River and she describes her studio as finding the balance in life between the river and the moon (Luna). I couldn’t help but pour over every piece in her shop because of the uniqueness of each feather. The contrast of the organic watercolor texture against the intricate line detail is beautiful. Feathers aren’t her only forte, Marisa’s work branches beyond feathers and animals to painted stones. Check out Marisa’s blog to learn more about her.
