Ariele Alasko – Woodworker

The one thing I don’t miss about Brooklyn, is not having space in our apartment for a studio. Now that we have a two bedroom apartment, I feel like we can breath and set up a work area that is separate from our living space. This also means that we’ve been on the hunt for a proper work table. While we’ve considered building one, I’m just a tad skeptical of our woodworking skills. However, these tables from Ariele Alasko make me want to rethink building our own table. I love her use of salvaged materials and how she mixes tones and angles to come up with these incredible table top designs. Not only does Ariele have pieces in her shop for sale, but she will also take custom orders. Or you could just drool all over her blog for hours like I did last night.
