Elizabeth Gilbert – Managing Genius

I don’t know how many people have seen this talk on TED already but I felt it is inspiring, quirky and a whole lot of other great descriptions that I am leaving out because I have a limited vocabulary and that is why my wife always beats me at Scrabble… I digress. Elizabeth Gilbert is the author of the popular “Eat, Pray, Love” and offers up this really great talk on society’s view towards people they deem artistic and genius. She also gives a possible solution for artists, writers, etc. to deal with said pressures and expectations. Stop and smell the roses. (In this metaphor, “smelling roses” means stare at a computer screen for 19 minutes.)
